PAUL NORMAN CRESSWELL CLARK

Paul was born in Cape Town and educated at Dioceson College (Bishops), whereafter he completed a B.Soc.Sci LLB at the University of Cape Town. After marrying Tracy in 1992, having completed his National Service and a "gap" year overseas, Paul commenced his articles with the well known Cape law firm Buchanan Boyes & Klossers, and in January 1995 was admitted as an Attorney and Conveyancer. Paul was with STBB/Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes (as they are now known) for 16 years, the last 10 of which as a director and the last 5 of which as executive director responsible for the Retail Conveyancing Division of the firm across all regions and all branches. At the time of Paul resigning (31 January 2009) he had just been appointed the firms Marketing and Compliance Director. The reason for Paul's resignation was that he wanted to fufill a life long ambition to start his own legal services practise with like minded thinking professionals. Paul is well known and highly respected as a specialist in Property Law.

STEVEN MCLOUGHLIN

Steven, a pupil of King Edward V11 School, Johannesburg, was admitted as an Attorney in 1995 after completing a BA LLB at the University of Cape Town. A specialist in High Court Litigation, Steven leads a team of aspirant young trial lawyers, and combines skill, knowledge and experience with an astute ability to apply legal principles to each client's case. With a genuine commitment to guiding clients through the often complex and intimidating legal process, Steven and his dynamic team make for formidable opponents in our courts of law.

Kristy was born and educated in Zimbabwe but studied at the University of Cape Town. Kristy was admitted as an Attorney in 2006 and was appointed as a director of the then Sonnenberg Mcloughlin Incorporated immediately thereafter. Kristy has quickly established notoriety as one of Cape Town's sharpest legal minds. Kristy's practise areas are Commercial law, Family Law, Litigation and Specialist Immigration Services.

TRACY-LEE PHILANDER

Tracy-Lee was born in Cape Town, attended St. Augustines Primary RCC & Immaculata Senior Secondary School RCC. Tracy-Lee studied and completed her LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape and then joined a Major Financial Institution as a manager in the Attorney Liaison Division, managing the Retail Mortgage Bond Attorney Panel - this included managing mortgage bond registration turnaround times, allocation of attorney instructions and attending to risk & compliance. Subsequently, Tracy-Lee joined C & A Friedlander Inc Attorneys in 2007 and completed her 2 year Article programme. In her first year as a Candidate Attorney, Tracy-Lee served as an Executive Member of the Cape Town Candidate Attorneys Association (CTCAA) and in her second year she was Chairperson of the CTCAA. Tracy-Lee was admitted as a Conveyancer and Attorney in February 2009 and joined Mcloughlin Clark Attorneys in August 2009. Tracy-Lee specialises in Property Law, Wills and Administration of Deceased Estates.

CATHERINE BERK

Cathy Berk is the Mcloughlin Clark Attorneys environmental law consultant, briefed by the firm to consult on environmental legal issues experienced by the firm’s clients. She completed articles at (the then) Buchanan Boyes & Klossers, was admitted as an attorney in 1997 and has worked in corporate commercial and legal roles before commencing legal practice for her own account in 2005. She holds a Masters in Tax Law (LLM. UCT) and a Masters in Marine and Environmental Law (LLM. UCT). She is a committed advocate in the business case for sustainable development and has particular consulting interests in the Climate Change sector and carbon credit markets.

DARREN ROSE

Darren was admitted as a Solicitor and Notary Public in Scotland in 2004. Darren completed his Masters Degree in Commercial Law at the University of Stellenbosch in 2005 and is presently studying towards his admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Darren has been a valuable member of the professional team since 2005 when he joined the firm (then known as Sonneberg Mcloughlin) and specialises in Insurance law.
